After the outbreak of the COVID-19 in 2020,online teaching is widely used in schools for "non-stop learning".The promotion of "Internet + education" in China has increased the opportunities for primary school students to contact the Internet,either.Due to the increase in Internet addictionc among primary school students,the influence of the Internet on minors is also increasing,and the trend is becoming more and more obvious in younger age.No matter the "Yuzhang Academy" case of quitting Internet addiction,or the news of "childern spending large amount of money to recharge game currency",Internet addiction is no longer a matter for a single family,it is a serious social problem.The "China Law on the Protection of Minors" has also added "online protection" regulation for minors online use.This study focuses on children’s "Internet addiction",from parent-child relationship,and discusses the influence of parent-child relationship on children’s Internet addiction,as well as the function of emotional regulation and peer relationship.Based on ecological systems theory and Developmental Contextualism,this study adopts the cross-sectional research method,and selects the Parent-child relationship scale,Difficulty in Emotuon Regulation Scale(DERS),the Peer Relationship Scale and the Internet Addiction Disorder Scale.Students from grade 4,5 and 6 of 11 primary schools in 9 provinces,including Jiangsu,Hubei and Henan as participants by class units,there are 1399 valid questionnaires finally.The results are as follows:(1)There is a positive correlation between parent-child relationship and emotional regulation and peer relationship,and a negative correlation with Internet addiction;There is also a positive correlation between emotional regulation and peer relationships and Internet addiction;Peer relationships are negatively correlated with internet addiction.(2)The analysis of mediation effect showed that emotion regulation and peer relationship played a chain mediating role in the influence of parent-child relationship on Internet addiction;(3)Parent-child relationship has a significant predictive effect on children’s Internet addiction;(4)Multi-group analysis showed that there were gender differences in children in the chain mediation effect.In summary,this study concludes that(1)parent-child relationship can significantly negatively predict children’s Internet addiction;(2)Parent-child relationship can not only affect children’s Internet addiction separately through emotional regulation and peer relationship,but also reduce the tendency of Internet addiction by improving the level of emotional regulation and then improving peer relationship(3)There are gender differences between boys and girls in the process of parent-child relationship affecting Internet addiction. |
