Space Narrative Research Of Space Science Fiction Movies

Space science fiction movies are distinguished from other movie types by their spectacle images since its birth,and have gradually attracted more and more audiences as time progresses.Space is an important part of space science fiction movie imaging.This paper focuses on the space of science fiction movies in space.It uses the narrative space of the film as a research object,and takes space science fiction movies as a sample.From the perspective of narratology,it explored the techniques or laws of film in space narrative and the spatial narrative of space science fiction movies.And features and dilemmas were analyzed.The paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter elaborates the concepts of space science fiction film and space narrative respectively.The two sections mainly start from the theory and elaborate on the definition and classification of science fiction movies,the development history and development background of space science fiction movies,the concept and connection of space and narrative,the narrative space and the space narrative in movies.The second chapter mainly presents the narrative space in space science fiction movies.The space in the film is mainly divided into two kinds:psychological space and mental space:The psychological space includes four categories of space,space capsules and spacecraft,the earth,the base,and the unknown space.The psychological space includes four categories:space,space capsules and spacecraft,earth,base,and unknown space.The psychological space of the characters including the psychology of loneliness and resistance,the psychology of accepting death,and the psychology of self-preservation.The third chapter focuses on the spatial narrative techniques of space science fiction movies.In visual space processing,the use of different stunts in the film outlines different spatial patterns.The control of space colors creates a specious space atmosphere.In the processing of the auditory space,the movie uses different styles of soundtracks to convey differences.The spatial artistic conception and the screen language set up narrate the background of the story.In the time and space arrangement,the film always maintains the spatial presence,and blurs the time when the story takes place.The fourth chapter discusses the spatial narrative function and dilemma of space science fiction movies:In terms of narrative function,space promotes the development of the film's storyline:filmmakers deal with space through montage,scene scheduling and other means to advance narrative;Space runs through the film's narrative process and arranges the narrative structure of the film.Thirdly,space has the function of symbolic metaphor:filmmakers communicate the meaning behind the arrangement of the lens and the setting of sound in the film.The modelling of audiovisual wonders and narrative themes has caused the spatial narrative dilemma of the film.By analyzing the spatial narration of space science fiction movies,this paper shows that space science fiction movies as one of the most popular types in the movie market in recent years,the spatial narrative is not the same as other movies.And the presentation of narrative space and spatial narrative techniques has its own unique personality,and will continue to explore and advance.
