The Liji Notes and Commentaries with phonetic notation printed in YuanDynasty in sixty-three volumes is the earliest known current Liji edition which isconsist of scriptures, annotations and phonetic notation.Due to a large number ofwear and tear of the pages, many texts were lost and mistaken, and they wererepaired three times in the 6th year of Zhengde Ming Dynasty, the 12th year ofZhengde Ming Dynasty, and the third year of Jiajing Ming Dynasty. From thequantitative point of view, reparative pages in the Ming Dynasty has almost reachedhalf, and a large number of reparative pages have caused the Liji Notes andCommentaries with phonetic notation printed in Yuan Dynasty more complicatedand diverse on version features. In Ming Dynasty, the repair of the version,to acertain extent, improved the status quo of the incomplete and worn edition so as tomake it show up in a relatively complete face.On the other hand,it also caused anumber of new fallacies. The Liji Notes and Commentaries with phonetic notation printed in YuanDynasty was reprinted by Li Yuanyang,Jiang Yida and others in the 15th to the 18thyear of Jiajing Ming Dynasty, the imperial college in the 16th year of Wanli MingDynasty, and Maojin in the 12th year of Chongzhen Ming Dynasty. In the 20th yearof Jiaqing Qing Dynasty,it was engraved by Ruan Yuan and others and published inthe form of "Reprint Song Dynasty Edition".Since then,we have benefited from itfor almost 200 years.By matching the Liji Notes and Commentaries with phoneticnotation printed in Yuan Dynasty and printed by Ruan Yuan from volume the 31th tothe 40th,we find that due to the time-honored and multiple repairs of Ming Dynasty there were a large number of different texts caused by error, disengagement, redundance and inversion, and most of them are guessed. In addition to a large number of different texts, the Liji Notes andCommentaries with phonetic notation printed in Yuan Dynasty has been heavily brushed since it was carved, causing some pages damaged seriously or incomplete, and the writing is ambiguous. There are many obvious defects such as missing pages,flip-chips,ink sticks, which are caused by multiple repairs in Ming Dynasty At the same time,we found that there are also texts that can be corrected in othereditions in collating. This provides powerful evidence for the changes in the contentof the Liji Notes and Commentaries from Yuan Dynasty to Qing Dynasty.Itprovides the necessary basis for the final version of the Liji Notes and Commentaries. Therefore,it has important cultural value and certain academicvalue.
