Research On The Thirteen Classics References Of The New Dictionary Of Korea

Korea's Xin Zi Dian is the most widely cited Chinese character dictionary in the history of the Korean character dictionary.It truly reflects the use of Korean characters in the early 20 th century.It inherits and develops the compilation tradition of Chinese character dictionary.This paper takes the thirteen classics references of Korea's Xin Zi Dian as research object,which have plentiful variants.This paper mainly researches the variants' characteristics of data,the relationship between the corresponding words of Kangxi Dictionary and the variants.And then concludes the variants' characteristics,analyzes the reasons underlying reasons for characteristics.Thus,the compilation culture of Korean Chinese character dictionary and the law of the spread of Chinese characters are presented.The innovation of this paper lies in:do a research on the variant characters of the thirteen classics references in Korea's Xin Zi Dian's which no other scholars hven't done any thorough research.This paper draws the following conclusions:(1)Korea's Xin Zi Dian references of the thirteen classics present following characteristics:preferring to referring the thirteen classics;The Book of Songs,Book of History,Book of Rites are the top three most-cited;making a simplification on the basis of the Kangxi Dictionary.(2)The variants of Korea's Xin Zi Dian references of the thirteen classics have a large quantity,the proportion is 12.7.From the perspective of variant characters' absolute number,the top three are The Book of Songs,Book of History,The spring and Autumn Annals.From the perspective of variant characters' proportion,Spring and Autumn grains Liang Chuan has the highest proportion(25%),Book of Rites has the lowest(9.5%).(3)There are five main types of the variant characters:ancient and modern charactershapes,interchangeability characters,allogeneic word,synonym,wrongly written character.Among the five types,allogeneic word has the highest proportion,then the synonym.(4)The variants of Korea's Xin Zi Dian references of the thirteen classics focus on the ideographic function of Chinese characters.(5)The variants of Korea's Xin Zi Dian references of the thirteen classics mainly derive from the Kangxi Dictionary.Except for the Kangxi Dictionary,Shuowen-Jiezi has a great influence on Korea's Xin Zi Dian.(6)There are many ancient words and some folk characters in the variants of Korea's Xin Zi Dian references of the thirteen classics.
