“Original ecology”refers to the state and image in the most primitive life.Its meaning varies in different settings.For instance,totem,the original ecology in life,is a primitive and long-standing image used to express folks' worship toward the divine power.Totem is a mark and symbol of primitive clan and tribe.Culture of totem not only lays the foundation for the form of national cultural psychologies,but also represents the nature and origin of ethnic culture and the inherent innocence of human nature.While in painting,original ecology is manifested in the drawings by children produced with no interference or intentional and forcing guidance.By analyzing paintings of infants,we can see that infantsways of expressing their psychological status and seeing objectives are different from those of our adults.As children grow older and are increasingly exposed to interferences from outside world,the original ecology in them will be reduced.And along with factitious intrusion,children are no longer candid and innocent as they once were.To illustrate this,many children and students are forced to paint against their will due to different cognition between them and their parents and teachers.As a result,the most original nature is taken away from them.What is encouraged for adults should be to guide children instead of forcing them.Although this situation is no longer strange to us,we still hope that children could keep as many as possible original ecological elements in them.To do this and also offer a comparison with modern education,we need to adopt more original-ecology paintings on brand design and graphic design,not just on our daily items.And we also should not let them be limited by rigid regulations or stereotypes.That is how the so-called original-ecology children paintings are embodied in graphic design,and moreover,we should spread this ingenuous original-ecology beauty into the adult world.
