The Draft of Chinese Ancient 'Music History written by Yin-Liu Yang(hereinafter referred to as 'The Draft'),is a masterpiece of 20 Century until now,and is worth reading over by each music learner.According to statistics by author,there are over one thousand three hundred and fifty comments in this book,contains various classic music historical references from ancient to modern times which are priceless culture heritage to us and are of great significance to the development of music.In this paper,the text made up by four parts,"the overview and background of The Draft","the annotation classification of The Draft","the annotation characteristics of The Draft","the annotation.evaluation of The Draft".This paper made a general inductive to The Draft by analyzing the life experience and academic contribution of Mr.Yin-Liu Yang,fully focused on his era background and guiding ideology,and made detail classification for the historical references showed in the annotation of The Draft by using the methods of documentary analysis,on this basis,and summarized the characteristic of these historical references,This part mainly summarized two important features of the annotation:.diversity and classic.the diversity is mainly refers-to the various documentary using and abundant annotation methods using;The classic mainly refers to:the classic historical references and Mr.Yang's classic historical viewpoint.also made an objective evaluation to the historical references in the end.This part mainly includes the achievements,inadequacies,and evaluation of the annotation.On the one hand,this part affirmed the annotation achievement of The Draft,on the other hand,this part also simply discussed the inadequacies of the historical references,at last bring us inspiration for current study by analyzing the book's annotation.
