From "Zhi Shi Fen Zi" To The Intellectual

As a writer,Yan Zhen's works has not much.So far,he has published only four full-length novels,but they all remarkable.Yan Zhen wrote the intellectuals.The publication of each novel is based on a lot of realistic observation and deep thinking.Because Yan Zhen himself has a highly self-conscious intellectual attitude with the perfusion and elaboration of the writer's craftsmanship,the image of the intellectuals he presents often has a real sense of character.Through the image of the intellectuals created by Yan Zhen,readers can have a strong sense of it.During the great social transformation of the 1980 s and 1990 s,the plight of intellectuals with traditional values and beliefs,the intelligentsia is on the edge,embarrassed by material life and mental life.Yan Zhen's concentrated reflection on the situation of intellectuals in the new era has aroused people's thinking and questioning about relevant issues.Under the historical circumstances that have undergone tremendous changes,the intellectuals who have the traditional knowledge of the scholar-bureaucrat will regain the dignity of the "knowledge man".This paper attempts to analyze the problem on the basis of the Yan Zhen's novels.The thesis is divided into three parts.The first part is "The real description of intellectuals".It is a summary and discussion of the various dilemmas encountered by intellectuals in the social transformation period.They include the physical embarrassment,mental confusion,anxiety and the loss and fall of the values of life.The second part is “The declaration of intellectuals".The paper analyzes the writer behind the work,which is why writers pay attention to the intellectual reason and the purpose.Then we pay attention to the meaning of the intellectuals and the binary opposites that the intellectuals encounter in the process of meaning seeking.The third part is from "intellectuals" to "intellectuals".It is an exploration of the possibility of the existence of intellectuals in the present,which shows thatintellectuals can still not give up their own cultural beliefs in the present moment which is a self-identity sign.At the same time,we should also pay attention to our own reflection and enterprising,striving for the dignity of intellectual.
