As one of the most representative plucked musical instruments in China,guzheng has a history of more than two thousand years.With the development of society and the improvement of people's aesthetic culture and aesthetic interest,The aesthetic pursuit of guzheng works by Guzheng players and listeners has become more diversified.Traditional guzheng works have been unable to meet the people's aesthetic needs.In recent years,guzheng works with minority elements have sprung up in large numbers.Among them,Uygur and Hmong have respectively become the main source of material for the elements of Guzheng in northwest and southwest.though works is few but have been widely loved and favored by performers and listeners.From the Guzheng works with these two kinds of minority elements,we choose eight pieces as an example to analyze.Firstly,from the brief situation of the eight works,we summarize their theme and reflection.Secondly,we make comparative analysis from three aspects,the fixed string,tonality and style and melody characteristics.And we analyse and elaborate the creativity of the works from the fixed string,melody,rhythm,performance form.Because of the difference between the regional environment and the human environment,the Guzheng's works of the two minority elements reflect different themes and thoughts.In addition,the difference of composition techniques between the two forms the unique musical style of these two kinds of minority elements guzheng works.Compared with the traditional Guzheng works,these two minority elements Guzheng works are more explicit and direct in the reflection of the theme,richer and more diverse in the composition techniques,and more novel in the performance form.Because of the innovation of the elements of Guzheng in the southwest and northwest of China,the works are full of modern atmosphere while they are full of strong and unique minority characteristics.
