A Study On Gender Construction Of Current Network Criminal Investigation Detective Drama

With the founding of the people's Republic of China,the gender equality has been established by the law in our nation.Whereas the traditional conception of gender still remains secretly in people's minds instead of disappearing with the change of society,which makes influences on people's behaviors in all walks of life,including a mass cultural product——the Criminal Investigation Drama.It started late in China,which developed so fast despite a late start.In the period between 1990s to early twenty-first Century,it almost occupied the half of the TV industry until the beginnig of policy adjustments,the speed of its development declined.With the advent of network drama,the criminal investigation drama was back successfully to "the small screen" as the detective drama type,but its gender awareness has changed compared to the past type and gender awareness of the network criminal investigation detective drama which has changed,is different from the past TV criminal investigation drama.In my graduation thesis,I tried to use the Gender Theory to analyze the gender consciousnesses in Chinese history and change.I have summarized the general development situation of our nation to think deeply the transform of social gender awareness which reflected by the present network criminal investigation detective dramas,with basing on three different network criminal investigation detective drama texts,in order to provide some help for further construction of gender equality.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly explained the significances and values of the research,the research review at home and abroad,and the research methods.The second part is the first chapter,which primarily discussed the social gender construction in the field of media culture by teasing out the Chinese gender conception of cultural foundation and historical evolution,and the role of mass media between the social gender construction and reconstruction.The network drama have been new platform for social gender imitating and showing.The third part is the second chapter,also the the main part of the article,which summarizesed the development process of Chinese criminal investigation drama with the specific text,interpreted the breaking and inheriting of both sex characters,and thought the network criminal investigation detective drama is playing a mythological role.The fourth part is the third chapter and rethinked the drama' s progressiveness and limitation in gender construction,affirmed its progressiveness for movie and TV play and social gender construction,and pointed out its limitation.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarized the whole text,and came up with the expectation in network drama gender research.
