Liu xinglong,vice President of the writers association of hubei province,editor of fangcao magazine.In 1956,he was born in huangzhou,hubei province.He worked as an engineer in yingshan county,a factory worker in yingshan county,and a director of literary and artistic creation of yingshan county.The rich life experience added material to his literary creation.In 1984,she published her debut novel "Black butterfly and black butterfly……" in the monthly magazine of anhui literature.After that,he successively created a large number of excellent short stories and novels.Among them,"Taking the Tea on Beijing" won the Lu Xun Literature Award and "Skywalker" won the 8th Mao Dun Literature Award.On October 30,2014,"Liu Xinglong contemporary literature research center" was established in central China normal university,at the same time,he employed as a visiting professor at central China normal university and served as honorary director of the research center.Liuxinglong is a representative writer in the contemporary literary world since the new era.His achievements have been fruitful,leaving many masterpieces,and new works have been published.As a writer with long-term creative history and rich creative achievements,Liuxinglong and his novels have attracted considerable attention from the academic and critical circles.There are many studies on his literary creation and texts,but there are not many special writers..This paper tries to discuss Liuxinglong's literary creation in a more systematic framework.On the basis of combing out his creative history and studying the current situation of his novels,combined with the detailed reading of the text,the article focuses on the theme,characters,regional characteristics and aesthetic pursuit of his works.First of all,to explore Liuxinglong's creative theme,Liuxinglong is most concerned with the local land.He said that "the local land is always the last home of mankind," and his deep feelings for the local land are also clearly visible in his works.Therefore,the theme of Liuxinglong's creation is explored.Local areas can not be ignored;In addition,the reflection on history is a distinctive theme in his works.The history he focuses on is the state of human existence in the historical process.The rational thinking of educated youth,the reflection of the Cultural Revolution,and the questioning of the historical revolution are all based on the concern of people.Secondly,the characters in Liuxinglong's works are all small people,peasants,workers,grassroots cadres,and rural intellectuals.From the description of the existence status of these small people,they explore the embodiment of the value of individual life.In addition,the symbolic significance of his "patrilineal" characters and the writing of female groups are also worth analyzing and interpreting.Thirdly,the thesis tries to analyze Liuxinglong's works from the perspective of regional culture,and analyzes the customs of Chu and the use of Eastern Hubei dialects in his works,in order to explore the uniqueness of his novels.Finally,in the aesthetic pursuit,"above life,there is poetry" is the pursuit of his creation.Liuxinglong not only tends to Chinese literary traditions,but also draws on Western narrative techniques.At the same time,he pursues the poetry of romanticism while restoring the dignity of realism.
