Early in the thirteenth Century,Genghis Khan established the Great Mongolian State and the Mongolian plateau was gradually unified,but some remaining tribes against the big Mongolia still have not been completely conquered.The remnants of these tribes moved in the direction of the Mobei's forest and nearby areas,so the tribes of “People of the forest” in the north of the region who were involved in the great unification war.As a result,these tribes began to gradually surrender the Mongolian Empire.Before the establishment of Greater Mongolia,the “people in the forest” lived in the northern part of the Mongolian plateau,west to the Irtysh River,south to the Altai Mountains,north to the Angara River,and east to the Xuelinge River.There are differences between them,not only their respective leaders,but also different languages.Research on the development of “People of the forest”tribes which is one of the important links in the study of the gradual unification of the Mongolian plateau.Therefore,it is very important to pay attention to the trend of the tribes of “People of the forest”in this period,so that we can further understand the characteristics of the Mongolian plateau and the historical background in the final unification process.Based on the basic historical materials and the previous studies,this paper makes a summary about the “People of the forest”tribes' situation,the time and process of conquest and the ruling policy in the last great Mongolian state in order to outline the historical situation of “People of the forest” tribes.
