Self-deception As A Mediator Of Relationship Between Life Event, Locus Of Control And Subjective Well-being

Since the reform and opening up,the private enterprises has been growing.Private enterprise groups are increasingly large.With the rapid development of the private enterprise,the employees' mental health problem Emerge in endlessly.In recent years,happiness has become a hot topic in psychology,management and sociology,and has achieved fruitful academic results.However,there were few studies on private employees' SWB,and most of them were comprehensive researches.The quantitative researches were few.After reviewing the relevant literature,four variables of life events,internal and external control,self-deception and SWB were selected as this paper variables.In this study,660 private enterprises were surveyed in Shandong,Hunan and Guangdong,and the corresponding statistical analysis results were discussed.The main conclusions drawn were as follows.(1)The characteristics of the private enterprise employees' self-deception and SWB on demographic variables.Gender.Compared to female employees,the male's self-deception level is high and significant.In the aspect of SWB,the gender difference is not Significant.Marriage.Married employees have higher level of self-deception than unmarried employees,and the difference is significant.The level of married employees' subjective well-being of is higher than that of unmarried,and the difference is significant.Age.36 years of age and above(The middle-aged),private employees' level of self-deception is higher than the 26-year-old(The youth)private workers group,and the difference is significant.36 years of age and above,the employees' SWB level of is higher than private employees under the age of 26,and the difference is significant.(2)The correlation between variables under the mechanism of subjective well-being personality-environmental.There are significant positive correlations between life events and the internal,the chance.but there is no significant correlation between life events and the powerful others.Life events are positively correlated with self-deception.There are significant negative correlations between life events and subjective well-being.Locus of control is positively related to self-deception,and the relationship between opportunity and self-deceit is negative and significant,but the relationship between the powerful others and self-deceit is not significant.the other two dimensions of Subjective well-being being significant,the negative emotions do not have significant correlation between Locus of control.(3)Life event can predict SWB significantly and negatively.Locus of control variables except powerful Others can predict SWB significantly and negatively.Self-deception can predict SWB significantly and positively.(4)In the process that SWB were affected by Life event and Locus of control,self-deception plays the role of partial intermediary.
