With the development of mobile devices and network technology, the mobile phones play an increasingly important role in people's daily life. However, people are more likely to become symbiotic with their mobile phone while enjoying the convenience brought by the phone, which has become a global hotspot issue.Quite a number of studies have shown that this phenomenon gradually shows the younger-aged trend--the level of mobile phone dependence(MPD)in the adolescents is expanding. For the rural adolescents, the advent of the mobile phones also brings changes in their lives and studies. These teenagers, who are at an important stage of physical and mental development, would be suffered a series of negative effects from the excessive indulgence of mobile phone. In order to find out the general status and characteristics of the rural adolescents' MPD through objective examination and subjective evaluation and explore its relationship with psychological abuse and neglect, attachment and alexithymia,1380 middle school and high school students who came from 4 schools in rural areas of Jiangxi and Hubei province were investigated by the questionnaries(MPAI,CPANS,IPPA,TAS-20).In addition, this study, which was based on attachment theory and was form the perspective of family and individual interaction, investigated the influence factors of MPD in rural areas. To be specific, the aims of this study were to explore the effect of psychological abuse and neglect on MPD and the mediating effects of attachment and alexithymia and to analyze the group difference of mediating effects. The result revealed that:1.The rate of MPD was 30.42% in total rural adolescents. The duration of phone use was consistent with the level of MPD.Moreover, there was the significant grade and gender difference in MPD,but the difference between left-behind children and non-left-behind children was insignificant.2.There was significant positive bivariate correlation between psychological abuse, neglect, alexithymia and MPD and significant negative correlation between attachment and psychological abuse, neglect, alexithymia and MPD.3.Psychological abuse and neglect both predicted the rural adolescents' MPD.And the predictive effect of psychological abuse on MPD was stably greater than that of neglect.4.Attachment and alexithymia were exerting complete mediation effects between the relation of psychological abuse and neglect and MPD in the rural adolescents. And this path had stability in the adolescents form different areas.5.There was no significant difference of mediation effects between different groups.
