A Report On The C-E Translation Of Big Data Interprise Product Introduction

This report is based on the C-E translation of big data software product developed by Transwarp Technology Co.,Ltd.Under the guidance of functional equivalence theory of Nida,this thesis focuses on exploring the specific processing methods of Chinese to English translation from three aspects of vocabulary,repetitive information,and sentence,and summarizes some effective translation strategies in order to provide some references for the translation of the same type.The text is a big data software product,and the English translation is used to expand foreign markets for the enterprise.This report is composed of five parts.The first part gives a description to the translation project,mainly involving the project background,a profile and a brief analysis on the project.The second part outlines the process of translation,which is made up of pre-translation preparation,translation arrangement and post-translation review.The third part is translation theory,which mainly introduces the theory of functional equivalence and the guidance in translation.The fourth part is the translation case analysis,which is the core of this paper.Combined with the typical cases in the materials,the translator mainly explores the translation methods and strategies in terms of vocabulary,repetitive information and sentence.The last part is a summary of the translation practice,shares some ideas and experiences,gains and drawbacks,in order to provide some references for the translation of big data products in the future.
