Study On Cultural Construction Of New Socialist Countryside

Since China's reform and opening up,the social conditions of China have changed enormously.Economic reform took the lead in rural areas and provided strong material support for socialist new rural culture construction,which greatly releasing agricultural productivity and significantly improving the living material standard of peasants.However,caused by a lack of understanding of the importance of rural cultural construction,more attention were paid restricted to the rural economic development in the new rural construction.Thus,rural development became deformity without the effectively leading of the cultural values.To make things worse,bad phenomenon in society such as ecological environment deterioration,"pornography" inundation,superstitions rampant,moral decline and blind competition severely affecting the sustainable development of the rural area and the establishment of harmonious society.The grand goal of building our country into a modern socialist country by the middle of this century was put forward in the 19 th Congress of CPC.The key of realizing this goal is the modernization of agriculture,rural areas and peasants,and the solution of "three rural" issue is inseparable from the construction of rural culture.Therefore,research on cultural construction of new socialist countryside becomes an important times task.Connotation and features of socialist new rural culture are revealed initially.Rural culture is a kind of culture which is formed by the farmers as main body,the rural area as main region and the agricultural production as main practice.And it is the concentrated reflection of cognitive style,behavioral pattern,life-style,way of thinking,values and social mentality in rural area.The new rural culture includes broad sense and narrow sense.Broad definition of rural culture is the material and spiritual achievements of peasants in rural area,while the narrow one refers to the rural spiritual culture.Rural culture has a series of features such as inheritance,nationality,regional difference and epochal character.Socialist new rural culture construction contains the establishment of science and culture,ideological and ethical standards,material culture,system culture and the civilization of the rural area and so on.At present,the problem for the rural culture construction are the less enthusiasm and conscious of peasants,unsound of the cultural Infrastructures,informational development level is relatively low,bad effects of culture construction and a serious shortage of cultural talents,which are caused by the government,rural economic development or cultural structure of peasants.To boost the cultural construction of socialist new rural area,it is necessary to strengthen the party's leadership and establish scientific planning.Besides,government should develop rural economy vigorously and increase funding for the construction of new rural culture.What's more,the overall quality of cultural team of rural area should be increased.Eventually,leaders should work out rules and regulations and establish long-term mechanism of cultural construction.
