Lin Xiyuan And The Literary Trend Of Zhengjia Period

better display the gradual change and development process of an idea and a style of literature.Through the study of Lin Xiyuan's corpus,this paper analyzes his literary thoughts,activity characteristics and his relationship with the times,and makes a further understanding of the literary trend of Zhengjia period.The understanding of background is helpful for understanding the causes of the formation of literature trend,the Zhengjia period is a complicated change period,on the one hand,the Retro trend and the Heart-mind theory have a broad impact in the society,which have deeply penetrated into the development of literature;On the other hand,the changes of political situation and economic development also have caused great changes in the literary ecology,and the mentality of the scholars has changed too,which directly leads to the change of literature trend.Lin Xiyuan formed his academic foundation under the influence of Neo-Confucianism and i ching.Therefore,he not only has strong neo-confucianism inclination,but also has his own understanding and dialectic.While under the influence of Confucianism,Lin Xiyuan formed the attitude towards life and personality characteristics of "Care for people and all things" and "Be frank,say what you want to say ".Under the influence of these,he also formed the ideological and academic characteristics of "learning to apply,to practice" and "What we learn from daoism can be applied to things that are good for people ".As a result of the social influence,these individual characteristics of Lin Xiyuan naturally become a mirror which reflect the era.As a affected scholar of the early seven talents' Retro movement,Lin Xiyuan was reflecting and doubting the Retro movement,pointed out and criticized the drawbacks of the Retro movement,and made a backwash to it in the perspective of neo-confucianism.In the process of the backwash,Lin Xiyuan took neo-confucianism as the starting point and the foothold,and held the viewpoi nt of " The value of the article lies in its application." as the entry point,which showed the full rationalness and systematic.These activities of Lin Xiyuan reflect the
