The emotion regulation strategy is an important social skill acquired by children in the social development. It is very important to children's peer contact and also to their physical and mental health development.According to the relevant literature, the author found that children's emotion regulation strategy are greatly situational and influenced by the situation.Based on the different situations, the researchers explored the emotional regulation strategies of young children and reached different conclusions. While the present study is based on peer conflict situations, which are common in early childhood,to explore the emotional regulation strategies of young children,in order to understand the influence mechanism of different peer conflict situations on children's emotional regulation strategies. In addition, the study showed that inhibitory control in the course of children's emotion regulation strategy use also play an important role, but there are few domestic scholars around the children's emotion regulation strategies and also discussing the relationship between the inhibitory control ability, especially in the peer conflict situation involving different emotional experience, they are how to influence children's emotion regulation strategy use, wait for further discussion. Moreover,in the past studies on the strategy of emotional regulation of infants, whether age is an important factor affecting the strategy of children's emotional regulation, different researchers have different conclusions. For this reason,166 children(the middle class aged 4 years old and the top class in a kindergarten aged 5 years old)were selected as subjects, and the story projection method was used to test the emotional regulation strategies in the hypothetical conflict story. The control ability of high and low suppression and age were the experimental factors, and the factors such as familiarity, time period of measurement, peer interference, noise, order and so on were non-experimental factors.Based on the self-report responses of children, the differences in the use of emotion regulation strategies in children aged 4 years old and 5 years old in different peer conflict situations were obtained, and the peer conflict situations were preliminarily discussed.Restrain the influence of control ability and age on children's emotion regulation strategy, and then put forward some suggestions and suggestions on this basis.Help teachers and parents to reasonably guide the emotional regulation strategies of children with different inhibition and control ability in different conflict situations. The main conclusions are as follows:(1)Through the analysis of the frequency difference of children's emotional regulation strategies in different conflict situations,we found that in the process of goods competition and intervention and control of peer conflict, the young children mainly use venting strategies and problem-solving strategies; In the conflict of game rejection, the strategy of alternative activities is the main;the conflict of verbal teasing is based on problem-solving and venting strategy;the main strategy of physical aggression is venting.Cognitive reconstruction,self-comfort and passive coping strategies are less used in the five types of conflicts.(2)Through the frequency analysis of the use of emotional adjustment strategies for children of different ages in the situation of peer conflict,it is found that, children of 4 years old or 5 years old used more venting and problem-solving strategies, and with the increase of age, children were more likely to use venting and problem-solving strategies.Problem solving strategies are increasing and venting strategies are decreasing.Based on the analysis of the frequency of emotional regulation strategies used by different genders,it was found that boys used more venting and passive coping strategies than girls, and girls used more problem-solving strategies than boys.(3)The data were further repeated measurement of variance analysis showed that, the game refused and resource competition, interference control, verbal teasing, physical aggression situation significantly,in the game refused children tend to use positive emotion regulation strategies;physical aggression and resource competition, interference control, speech making fun of differences in physical aggression children tend to use negative the emotion regulation strategies.(4)Inhibitory control ability of children's emotion regulation strategy is a significant difference, high inhibitory control group infants tend to use more positive emotion regulation strategies, low inhibitory control ability children tend to use negative emotion regulation strategies.(5)There are significant differences in the application of emotional regulation strategies among children of different ages. The 5-year-olds were more likely to use positive emotion regulation strategies in the conflict of resource contention, intervention control, game rejection and verbal teasing than the 4-year-olds.(6)In the interaction between peer conflict situation, inhibitory control ability and age, only age and conflict type interaction are significant. For the 4-year-old children, the difference between game refusal and resource competition, physical aggression and interference control is significant;for 5-year-old children, the difference between physical aggression and resource competition, interference control, game rejection, and verbal teasing is extremely significant. And game rejection is significantly different from verbal teasing. In the conflict of game rejection, resource competition, intervention and control, the difference between ages was significant.Children aged 5 years old were more likely to use positive emotion regulation strategies than those in the age group of 4 years old.
