Education in the war of resistance against Japan has a strong wartime color,Because of the idea of “service for wartime”at that time,In addition to the implementation of the Xinxian County system,the primary and secondary education can be developed in such a special environment.The significance of primary and secondary education at that time was to carry out a large — scale campaign to eliminate illiteracy,enhance the strength of the war of resistance and arouse the patriotic consciousness of the people.The development of primary and middle school education in Guang'an county has its own characteristics.But in the course of development,many difficulties and problems have been encountered.This article takes the archives of the Guang'an county Education Bureau of the Republic of China as the main historical material,This paper analyzes the development of primary and secondary education in Guang'an County,as well as the achievements,historical impact and Enlightenment to modern education,so as to benefit local education and promote the study of the history of the Republic of China.The literature shows that,with the active efforts of all parties,the education of primary and secondary schools in Guang'an county during the war of resistance against Japan has achieved certain achievements : First,the establishment of a sufficient number of primary and secondary schools,to select the site to provide convenience for students and the public school society set off the upsurge of learning,to remove the most illiterate,popularize the war knowledge,enhance patriotism and consciousness of students and the public enemy,to make a certain contribution to the cause of the war.Secondly,we use various ways to raise educational funds,grant grants to private primary and secondary schools,and maintain the normal operation of most schools.principals and teachers in private schools often pay private students daily expenses,so that students can successfully conduct courses and cultivate many excellent graduates.Thirdly,repair damagedhouses,provide school furniture,purchase teaching equipment,popularize air defense knowledge for students and people,do preventive measures,reduce casualties and ensure basic personal safety.Fourth,pay attention to the cultivation of teachers,develop measures to encourage high school graduates admitted to colleges,strengthen teachers,strict examination on the qualifications of primary and secondary school teachers,improve teacher training time teaching level,rewards and punishments measures to enhance the teacher's teaching enthusiasm,guarantee certain quality of teaching.Fifth,students of strict management,will be implemented by the boarding system,military training,urge the students physical fitness,learning a variety of defensive skills during the summer vacation,also arranged for students to complete assignments and labor service practice,be included in the performance appraisal,to provide qualified manpower for the country,to enable students to have a sense of unity and cooperation and hard—working spirit.Six,for students with excellent grades and poor families to set up scholarships for scholarships,and to provide food subsidies to students in school.Seventh,the wartime curriculum is conducive to improve the level of practical skills training,the flexibility and adaptability of students and the public.Of course,by the impact of the war and the historical limitations,Guang'an county education did not achieve the desired results,there are still many shortcomings,but in the national auti Japanese education in the role can not be ignored,is still of great significance to education nowadays,such as strengthening the patriotic education,flexible teaching the way,ensure adequate fundung of education,are worthy of study today.
