In 1919,the Bauhaus school of design in weimar,Germany,founded by Gropius,after 14 years of development,the known as "the cradle of modern art design education" design school was forcibly closed by nazism group.Subsequently,Then,Bauhaus' s founding father,Gropius,and the third President Mies Van der Rohe,came to teach in the United States with the education concept of Bauhaus,caused a great influence in the field of design education in the United States.In the early 1980 s,our country started from the Bauhaus,universities are promoting and practicing of the Bauhaus "new unification of art and technology" and "art for the public service",the core of teaching concept,it shows that the design of the teaching method in our country will become art and technology combined with the direction and change.The unique teaching ideas,teaching system and basic courses of Bauhaus are reflected in all major design institutions in our country,and they can be traced to this day.Especially the "The three constitute"(plane composition,three-dimensional composition,color composition)teaching course of the introduction and promotion,not only an upsurge on the teaching of composition,also opened the international perspective of traditional Chinese arts and crafts,to promote the deepening of art design teaching mode.The Bauhaus was the forerunner of the modern art design education idea,not only influence the formation of modern art design style,also for modern art design education in China has injected fresh blood,for the transformation of modern art design education in China ideological basis.In a great sense,the development and reform of education of modern art design in our country have been promoted.however,Bauhaus education conceptemphasis on function and structure too much,make our country's traditional national culture has a certain degree of impact,resulting in modern art design education in China lacks its own characteristic,the design had become the economic development and cultural progress.In addition,our country of the Bauhaus existing huge distortions and blind introduction,such as the early 1980 s of the "The composition became very popular" in our country is the imitation of the Bauhaus deteriorates form,this lack of originality to just copying the behavior of our countryface the source fuzzy,used to introduce,from formulation and other problems.Therefore,China's introduction of Bauhaus began to reflect.Bauhaus has always been built on the basis of reform and innovation.At each stage,Bauhaus is constantly adjusting the teaching system and curriculum setting,so Bauhaus' s development experience is still worth learning.In terms of the development of education in modern art design in China,it is necessary to adapt to the trend of The Times,set up new ideals and new aspirations,and unswervingly follow the path of reform and innovation.We should consult the seniors,learn from the wise,learn from tradition,enrich the cultural connotation of the design with traditional culture,and adhere to the new unity of technology,art and culture.
