A Study On Selection And Presentation Of Cultural Items In Chinese Teaching Materials Of Primary And Intermediate Teaching Period

This thesis takes Developing Chinese and Zhongwen three sets in two series of Chinese teaching materials as the research object,to analyze the different characteristics of cultural items in selection and presentation of Primary and Intermediate Teaching Period.The teaching objects of these two series of Chinese teaching materials are different,but these two series of Chinese teaching materials are highly evaluated in the Chinese teaching field.I hope the research in this thesis can provide some references for the compilation of Chinese teaching materials.Firstly,this thesis summarizes the relevant research of cultural factors in Chinese teaching materials to determines the research object and purpose of this thesis.Then establishes the system of cultural items to count up the number of cultural items in the textbook to provide the data for the analysis below.This thesis focuses on the selection and presentation of cultural items of Developing Chinese and Zhongwen,and explores the reasons or significance behind the different characteristics.This thesis suggests that good teaching materials are not balanced in the selection of cultural items,and cultural orientation has its reasonableness.We should not rush to deny it.In the presentation of cultural items,the difficulty arrangement of Developing Chinese is simple and easy to be understood,and the textbook editor can treat Chinese culture objectively and dialectically.Zhongwen has a variety of presentation forms and can systematically present a certain type of cultural items,and the textbook editor takes positive attitude to Chinese culture.These two series of Chinese teaching materials have some shortcomings in the selection and presentation of cultural items,but there are still many advantages to learn from.
