Translation Project Report

This practice report is based on the author's E-C translation of "Distributor Contract" entrusted by Xiamen Tenote Investment Co.Ltd.,the purpose of which is to help the entrusting party understand every detail of the contract and thus guarantee smooth running of business.This practice report is a review and summary of the whole process of the translation of the "Distributor Contract" under the guidance of Newmark's theoretical framework of text typology and his translation theories,in which the author analyzes the features of text,sentence patterns and words and summarizes the effective ways of dealing with those difficulties that occurred in translation.This report is also the author's reflection on being a qualified translator and is hoped to be a reference to similar translations.
