The study of the immediate evaluation of English classroom in primary school plays an important role in improving the English teaching.Classroom immediate evaluation not only affects the students' enthusiasm for learning,but also plays an important role in the development of students.The study on the differences of classroom immediate evaluation between novice and expert teachers can improve the teaching quality and novice teachers' professional development.This study investigated the immediate evaluation of English teachers in primary school by using classroom observation and interview.The current situation and existing problems of the English teachers' immediate evaluation and differences between novice and expert teachers in evaluation language,evaluation subjects,evaluation modes,evaluation contents and evaluation nature were discussed.The result showed that most of the English teachers knew the importance and had the consciousness to immediate classroom evaluation.The evaluation language of expert teachers was rich and targeted.The expert teachers evaluated the specific aspects of the students' learning,and the evaluation modes were diverse,and they were good at using the positive evaluation,and can use the negative evaluation flexibly.Based onthe research,some practical strategies were suggested for stimulating students' English learning motivation and improving the teaching efficiency.
