A Report Of The Chinese Translation Of China Space Strategy And Developments

This is a report based on E-C translation cooperation between Guilin Research Center for Government Digit Dissemination and Culture as a Soft Power and Guangxi Normal University.This translation practice report is a translation of China Space Strategy and development.The paper is about a study entitled China Space Strategy and Developments,which was published by the Center for Strategic and International Studies in the United States.It analyzes the strategies and capabilities of China space,and evaluates the motives and strategies of China space in order to understand and evaluate China's military.It also illustrated the U.S.space capability and its response to the development of Chinese space.Nowadays,both developing and developed countries are paying more and more attention to and actively participating in the development of space activities.The peaceful exploration of space is an unremitting pursuit of mankind from ancient times to the present.As a result,the translation of spaceflight texts has become increasingly important.This translation practice report consists of four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which describes the source,significance and requirements of the translation materials.The second chapter is the preparation before translation.It mainly describes the content and features of the translated text,and summarizes the process of translation.Chapter three is a case study,which analyzes the process of translation from lexical and syntactic levels.Among them,lexical level is divided into term translation and compound translation.Syntactic level is divided into passive sentence translation and long sentence translation.In this chapter,the author found and solved the problems by giving a large number of examples in the text,in order to achieve the best translation effect.Chapter four is the major findings of this report,which summarized the experience and achievements gained in the process of translation.At the same time,through the reflection of the translation process,some lessons are gained,which lay the foundation for the next better translation.At present,the translation of the aerospace industry is not sufficient.It is hoped that the author's translation practice report can provide reference for the relevant personnel to some extent.
