A Study Of The Artistic Style Of The Contemporary Grass Painting School

In the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia,there were ever many regimes established by ethnic minority.While their civilization is active in Inner Mongolia,they have also created their own splendid art and culture,which have been divided and intermingled with each other through a long and continuous war.The artists with various nationalities in Inner Mongolia grassland,using their unique environment of nature and humanity,have created a unique piece of works with profoundly national art and cultural heritage,but also formed its uniquely artistic characteristics.The artistic style of the "contemporary painting school mastering in grassland" came into being in this kind of artistic atmosphere.In the creation of the "painting school mastering grassland",the expression was used to highlight the national and regional character of the work.The uniquely humanistic characteristics and regional customs of the ethnic minorities on the grasslands are more vividly displayed.The thesis consists of seven parts as following:The first part is the introduction,including the research's purpose,significance,status and methods,for the preparation of the paper.The second part is formation and evolution of contemporary painting school mastering in grassland,from such three periods as gestation,maturity and prosperity,to introduce the its process of the formation and evolution.The third part is the representative characters and the aesthetic connotation of its works.In order to understand the similarities and differences between the artistic style of school as whole,this paper deeply interprets its art works from following three aspects: the mainly artistic thought,the form and the characteristics of the works.The 4th part is composed of the paintings of the school.Through combing the relationship between the culture of grassland and the painting from school,this paper summarizes the role of the school in the inheritance and formative innovation of the grassland national art in different periods,and probes into its whole thought on art and artistic style.The ethnic minorities on the grassland have formed their own unique artistic values in their long-term production and life,and the contemporary painting school mastering in grassland is the result of their long-term artistic practice.These artisticachievements have also become an important resource for continuing study on the art of grassland nationalities.The 5th part is in the creation the application of its painting style.Through the study on the artistic style of the school,this paper summarizes the its painting skills and forms of expression used by the famous artists of this school in their works,and applies it to the creation of individual oil painting about matter with national subject,and according to the creating process,this paper discusses the experience in the creation and explores the application of the painting style used in the creation.
