Grasslands Of Inner Mongolia Painting Research

Grassland painting school is an important art group forming in Inner Mongolia minority areas after the founding of new China. It is the major representative of the merging of grassland culture and central Chinese culture, traditional culture and modern culture in the fine arts development of new China. At the same time, it is an important part of grassland culture and art in Inner Mongolia. Taking this as a starting point, the paper expounds, researches and analyzes the related issues of grassland painting school and grassland culture, form and content representation of grassland painting school works, inheritance and innovation of grassland painting school art.This paper is composed of three parts: First, the formation and development of grassland painting school; Second,the artistic feature of grassland painting school; And third, the artistic value of grassland painting school.Among them, the second and third parts are the focus of the paper. The second part analyzes grassland painting school works from three aspects: content and form representation, features of them in order to grasp the basic characteristics. The third part delves inheritance of ethnic art of grassland and innovation of art form through the origin‐relationship between grassland culture and grassland painting school. And on this basis, this part explores the artistic ideas, artistic style, and inheritance and innovation of grassland painting school. Inner Mongolia people of grasslands formed their own art values in the long term. Grassland painting school is that they jointly created in their long‐term artistic practice, is also the best witness of artists of all nationalities and their performance of object and art concept. Meanwhile it is important resource studying the culture and art of Inner Mongolia, and shows the national and regional character of the grassland painting school, still remains in contemporary art.
