?A Dream of Red Mansions? takes up a high status in the world literature,which know as one of the "China's four masterpieces".It can be perceived as one of the most outstanding Chinese classical novels as well as chapter fictions.There are three existing versions of Russian translated version till the present,which are: ?.?.????????'s translation,the 1958 translated version and the 1995 translated version from ?.???????,among which Kova Nico's translation only achieved the first half of the first edition,while Panasonic's 1958 translated version is the first complete translated version in the Foreign-Chinese translation history.Compared with the 1985 translated version,1995's is more smooth and legible which is neatly illustrated by a nature and mature details as well as varied translation methods.Intercultural communication is closely related to translation which can have a direct impact on the translation process.Due to the tremendous difference of the thinking,value,culture and language between the Russian and Chinese,intercultural communication can play a crucial role in the translation process.Thus,instead of translating word by word,an excellent translator should pay more attention on understanding and accordingly expressing the culture,tradition and the deep meaning from the source text.In fact,there are two main strategies can be used during the translation process,one is based on the culture of target language,the other one is based on the source text.It should be noted that the analysis of the Panasonic's translated version will be discussed on the basis of domesticating translation and foreignization translation.Panasonic's translated version used more foreignization translation rather than domesticating translation,so as to make sure the Russian readers can feel more comfortable with the feelings that to be expressed behind the texts.Although Panasonic achieved a remarkable translation,mistranslations still can be detected through his translation,which can be classified as name,title,idiom,poem,food,place etc.In brief,it is essential for the translators to have a mastery of intercultural communication skills,while perfectly combining the culture between the sourcelanguage and the target language so as to prevent the possibility of mistranslation.
