Visual Design And Expression Of Electronic Music

Music visualization sprouted in the middle of the eighteenth century,source physicists through the production of acousto-optic devices for a variety of physical experiments to explore the correspondence between sound and light.After a few hundred years,people also carried out a series of researches on the correspondence between the two.Early twentieth century,artists have made further attempts,such as Oskar Fischinger in the animation to explore the correspondence between graphics and music.With the rapid development of computer technology at the end of the twentieth century,artists,designers and engineers have been able to use more advanced techniques to explore the correspondence between visual forms and music data.This article analyzes the artistic relationship between auditory and visual interpretation of the basic concept of music visualization,discussed the elements that affect the visualization of music.At the same time,by combining the two basic modes of expression in music visualization at present-based on the visual expression of music data and the artistic visual expression which emphasizes the subjective feelings,the author further explores the technical means and expression technique of music visualization.During the exploration of music visualization design practice,we first collect the sound data of electronic music as the initial material,and then further analyze and analyze the initial material to explore the available material that can relate sound and vision.In the process of visual conversion of music data,the author also discusses the corresponding relationship between auditory and visual by analyzing the design elements that affect visualization,and uses the specific computing rules to make the music data show the inner relationship between sound and graphics,trying to learn and Using interdisciplinary techniques to intervene in the visual correspondence of sounds and graphics,transformation and expression of personality.Because music is an abstract and highly subjective expression of art form,visual design expressions alsoemphasize the combination of rational sound data of visual art features with perceptual visual language and formal expressions.
