Design And Practice Of Environment Of College Oral English Based On Wechat Group And Wechat Public Platform

With the continuous development of network and information technology,mobile phone applications are getting more and more integrated into people's lives,among which We Chat groups and We Chat public platforms have become an indispensable part of people's daily communication,affecting their lifestyles and learning methods imperceptibly.While one of the difficulties of college oral English learning is the insufficiency in providing contexts for students to interact repeatedly.Based on the current mobile terminal technologies,this paper put forward the environment based on We Chat group and We Chat public platform,and carried out relevant practice in view of this practical difficulty.The environment based on We Chat group and We Chat public platform,or double-We for short,provided students with environment of functions and contexts of repeated interaction.At present,some of the academic staff or enterprises has shown mobile learning resources on their We Chat public platforms,but there's no interaction among learners,it only happens between learners and platforms.The teaching strategy proposed in this study combined We Chat groups and We Chat public platforms in the field of education,which can not only satisfy the interaction between the learners and the platform,but also the interaction among the learners.This study has certain novelty because no relevant research has been done according to our team's research findings.The environment mentioned in this study are designed to meet the offline learning needs of oral English,and they're based on Wechat groups as a means of interaction and We Chat public platforms as tools of promotion and interaction.Thus,oral English learning has been strengthened in repeated interaction contexts.With the continuous development of network and information technology,mobile phone applications are getting more and more integrated into people's lives,among which We Chat groups and We Chat public platforms have become an indispensable part of people's daily communication,affecting their lifestyles and learning methods imperceptibly.While one of the difficulties of college oral English learning is the insufficiency in providing contexts for students to interact repeatedly.Based on the current mobile terminal technologies,this paper put forward the environment based on We Chat group and We Chat public platform,and carried out relevant practice in view of this practical difficulty.The environment based on We Chat group and We Chat public platform,or double-We for short,provided students with environment of functions and contexts of repeated interaction.Through these strategies,virtual interaction was extended to real interaction,and the advantages of Wechat public platforms,such as presentation of both pictures and characters and group-sent messages,were combined with the advantage of Wechat groups,multiple interactions,thus repeated interaction contexts for learners are made.In this research,the definition of the environment based on double-We were brought forward,as well as its content and implementation steps.Meanwhile,an inter-evaluation system supported by We Chat group and We Chat public platform and a self-evaluation system based on Xunfei Words Recording(Automatic Speech Recognition)combined with C# text similarity program were designed.At last,this study took relevant chapters of Modern College Oral English Book 2 and subjects of 8,000 Sentences of Oral English as an example,and proved the validity of the proposed environment on promoting the students' oral English learning,also provided a new environment to the teaching of college oral English.Limitations of this study and the applicability of the future oral English teaching in high school were pointed out in the end.
