The Research On Quantitative Phrase Of Xiao+X Structure In Modern Chinese

Li Yuming(2000)put forward the dominate and hidden quantities,the measurement of "Xiao+X" structure belongs to the study of hidden quantity(or recessive quantity).Many "Xiao+X" structures in modern Chinese can be used in the "Modern Chinese Dictionary"(7th edition).A meaning of "Xiao" in Chinese.For example,"Xiao" in "Xiao Pingguo" means small in size,"Xiao" in "Xiao Hai" means small in age,"Xiao" in "Xiao Pingguo" refers to small in area.But there are some special cases in "Xiao+X" structure which cannot be effectively explained in the dictionary.For example,what does " Xiao" mean in "Xiao Riben" ? Brunei is smaller than Japan.Why not call Brunei a "Xiao Wenlai" ? As a native Chinese,it is very difficult to explain clearly,let alone new Chinese students.In this paper,the theory of metrology in the category of consumption solves the above problems,and makes clear the relationship between the different semantics of "Xiao" in "Xiao+X" structure.This paper is divided into five chapters:The first chapter is the introduction part,which mainly describes the research object,content,significance,research methods and the source of the corpus,and summarizes the previous research results.Including the quantitative category of research results,"Xiao+X" structure research results in two aspects.The second chapter analyzes the structure of "Xiao+X" in modern Chinese from the perspective of metrology drawing on the latest theoretical achievements of quantitative Category.Based on the corpus analysis of "Xiao+X" structure in modern Chinese,the third chapter and fourth chapter study on the Dimension of "Xiao" manifestation in "Xiao+X" structure.It is found that there are length dimension,width dimension,height dimension,area dimension,volume dimension,coarse dimension,capacity dimension,range dimension,scale dimension,amplitude dimension,event size dimension,character dimension,speed dimension,age dimension,time dimension,generation dimension,division dimension,money dimension,individual dimension,harvest dimension,status dimension,style dimension,education dimension,personality dimension,openness dimension,complexity dimension,degree dimension,strong degree dimension,style dimension.The fifth chapter classifies the quantitative dimension in the "Xiao+X" structure of modern Chinese.In conclusion,from the angle of quantitative category,the relationship between the non-semantics of "Xiao" is expounded.In "Xiao+X",there are 30 kinds of dimension in "Xiao+X",which can be divided into six categories: the dimension of table space,the dimension of time,the dimension of value,the dimension of rank,the dimension of degree and the dimension of style.The type of quantitative dimension has the characteristics of diversity and tendency,and there is an extension law among the dimensions at the same time.The deeper the extension is,the lower the semantic transparency of the "Xiao+X" structure is,and the more difficult it is to understand the structure.
