The culture exchanges between China and Japan have a long history,In ancient times,Japan had always regarded China as a teacher and developed itself through studying Chinese culture.Since the modern times,with the introduction of western culture,the status of this mentoring has changed.In face of the impact of advanced western ideas,concepts and institutions,Japanese responded in a positive attitude,they not only fully absorbed it but also on the basis of its own culture to improved it,in addition,Japanese can take the lead in completing the transformation of modernization and become a model of China.Specific to the literary textbook,we can say that the textbook of modern Chinese literary theory is based on the study and imitation of Japanese literary theory.However,in recent years,academic circles have paid more attention to literary textbooks for studying Western and Soviet Union literary theory,but the impact of Japanese literary theory a little deserted.Therefore,this article focuses on the literary theory textbooks in the first half of the 20th century,by studying textbook materials specifically,find out the influence and specific reasons of Japanese literary theory in the construction of Chinese modern literary textbooks,and provide suggestions on the contemporary literary textbooks.The text of this paper consists of five parts:the first part analysis the production of the textbooks and the reason why Japanese literary theory can influence the writing on the modern Chinese literary textbooks,in ancient China,we did not have literary textbooks,the May Fourth New Culture Movement and the establishment of modern university literature discipline system,which create the conditions for the creation of literary textbooks.Translation textbooks introduced in China directly triggered the preparation of literary theory teaching.The second part arranged the important concepts in the literary essence theory,creation theory,works theory and criticism theory in the modern Chinese literary textbooks to specifically analyzing their relationship with the Japanese literary textbooks.The third part focuses on the structure of the textbooks,through study the structure on the existing textbooks to find the frame is how to form,we found that almost all of the structure are based on the Motoma kuxiong?s book,“Introduction to New Literature”and“Introduction to Literature”.Most of the literature textbooks use“literary essence”,“literary social”and“literary works”three-part structure of the book.The fourth part study the methods of literature research,explain the reasons and the methods of the influence of Japanese sociology research methods on the compilation of literary textbooks.In the fifth part,based on the former four parts,according to the emergence and development of the textbook of modern Chinese literary theory,we give enlightenment to the preparation of textbook for future literary theory:continue to adhere to openness,make full use of a variety of literary resources,pay attention to the practicality of literary theory teaching materials.
