The Study On The Social Psychology Of Haihe Flood Disaster In 1963

The flooding of the Haihe River in 1963 was a rare event,it may be said not occur even in a hundred years.The serious natural disasters have directly caused the psychological changes of the people in the Xingtai area.These social psychologies arising from the occurrence of disasters are both negative,such as victims' awareness and non-moral psychology;they are also positive,such as adaptive psychology,affinity psychology,and moral psychology.Different psychology brings different influences to people,which are reflected in behaviors that are rational behavior and irrational behavior.Victims of a natural calamity appear irrational behavior affected by negative disaster psychology after disaster,such as absconding,water disputes and cadre conflicts and so on.They have some actions that are beneficial to the elimination of the consequences of the disaster under the guidance of active disaster psychology——there is order in the disorder——such as self-help and mutual assistance.As far as the causes of disaster psychology are concerned,the 100-year experience of the Haihe flood disaster is the basic reason.The lack of disaster-prevention water conservancy facilities and the low survival conditions after the disaster are also important factors constraining the psychology of disasters.In addition,there are some subjective factors that can not be ignored,and the victims' awareness of disaster prevention and experience,and the rumors of disasters have caused the development of negative psychology.The state and the government is mainly responsible for disaster relief,in addition to give aid to the victims in the material,still need psychological relief,namely mental relief.Restricted by the times,the state and government adopted methods such as class education,comparison of memories,cross-border collaboration,and exemplary driving in the post-disaster relief of the Hai River floods in 1963.These methods of disaster relief have obvious political nature,and at the same time also is the collectivization period the Chinese communist party's disaster relief characteristic.Since then,with the development of eradication of Haihe movement.has caused the people of the Xingtai area to devote themselves fully to the construction of water conservancy projects,diluting the grief caused by the Hai River floods in August 1963.
