With the development of the Internet,mobile devices such as smart phones have become increasingly popular,and people are increasingly inclined to use mobile devices for learning.The educational APP based on mobile devices is a new type of learning method in the “Internet” era and should be born on a regular basis.The Education APP provides primary students with vivid and visual learning aids,providing them with convenient conditions for learning with scattered time,so that learning is everywhere.Among the various education apps used by primary school students,English class education APP is the most widely used and has become an important part of pupils' extracurricular English learning.However,in the actual use process,there will also be some problems that will have an adverse effect on students' after-class learning.Therefore,it is necessary for us to conduct in-depth and detailed investigation and analysis of the status quo of primary school students using English-language education APP for extra-curricular learning,and put forward corresponding optimization strategies to maximize the use of English-language education APP.In this study,a questionnaire survey was used to investigate the status of English class APP apprenticeships for extracurricular students in Wuhan X elementary school.210 students were randomly selected by student numbers in the fourth,fifth,and sixth grade class systems to ensure that the samples were as uniform as possible.Assignment,representative;supplemented by interviews with the mid-term examination parent meeting as an opportunity to conduct interviews,a total of 18 parents were interviewed.According to the results of the investigation,the specific situation of the primary school students using English-language education APP to carry out extra-curricular learning was analyzed from the three aspects of use purpose,use behavior,and use effect.The existing problems and causes were analyzed,and the corresponding countermeasures were put forward.The survey found that primary school students generally adopt an acknowledging attitude toward using English-language education APP for extra-curricular learning.This is mainly reflected in the fact that English-language education APP can provide students with the necessary learning resources and can improve students' learning motivation to a certain extent.General improvement.However,in the course of use,pupils often have problems such as passive learning,weak self-control,inappropriate learning methods,and lack of interaction during learning.To solve the above problems,the author analyzes the problem of the use of English education for primary school students from the perspectives of developers,students,schools,and the community,and then puts forward the optimization strategies for the use of English education for primary school students.Specifically,the development organization should pay attention to education.With regard to the educational nature of APP,students should improve their understanding of educational APP,clarify their learning goals,and enhance self-directed learning and self-control;parents should strengthen their awareness and understanding of educational APP and help children improve their ability to acquire resources;schools and teachers should Pay attention to publicity and education and recommend suitable English education APP for students.These measures can provide more reasonable and effective practical guidance for primary school students to use English-language education APP for extra-curricular learning,making the English-language education APP a truly effective assistant for extra-curricular learning,and constantly improving primary school students' extracurricular learning efficiency and learning effectiveness.
