With the development of computer technology and the continuous deepening of interdisciplinary research,the digital humanities,the subject of integration of computers and humanities,has also been developed.Research on digital humanities at home and abroad is also deepening.The third part of Futures for English Studiesintroduces the very popular digital humanities and children's literature research in the English-speaking world.Through translating selected chapters,the translator has a deep understanding of the important role of digital humanities and children's literature in the study of English learning,and understands the current status of research on digital humanities and children's literature at home and abroad.Under the guidance of the text type theory of the famous German translation theoretician Kathleen Reiss,the translator analyzes the text type and linguistic features of the original text,and translates the selected the materials and improves her own translation skills.In addition,the translator has achieved a deeper understanding through the translation of selected informative text materials,knowing to conduct different methods of translating different texts,and gets a basic understanding of how to handle the translation of different types of texts,and has a deeper understanding of the translation of informative texts.Through the use of different translation techniques and methods,including part-of-speech conversion,long sentence dissembling,literal translation,free translation,omission and amplification,the translator has further improved her own translation skills,summarized the translation practice,and hoped the lessons acquired could provide more guidance in later studies.At the same time,the translator wishes this article could provide a reference for translators and readers who are interested in studying the role of digital humanities and children's literature in English research...
