In the “Internet Plus” era of rapid development of science and technology,the emergence of various types of educational APP software has increasingly influenced the layout of English teaching and homework assignments.More and more educational researchers and first-line teachers have carried out changes in assignment arrangements.The traditional homework arrangement is mainly the transcription of words or sentences,the corresponding exercise book exercises,listening to tapes or reading texts,etc.,but its interest is not high,the pertinence is not strong,and it takes much time;the APP operation software arrangement work can create a variety of real language learning and application environments for students.Therefore,this paper uses APP software to lay out English assignments to try to solve the problems of students' low interest in English work,poor completion of English assignments,and weak self-learning ability.This will improve students' initiative in English homework study and help students.Grasping the learning methods to improve students' ability to learn independently,and at the same time provide some references and implementation plans for English teachers in their homework assignments.This study summarized domestic and international research on homework and information technology and discipline integration.The project used questionnaire surveys,interviews,experimental methods,and test methods to analyze the current status of the application of APP software in practice.The students of the fifth grade primary school were chosen as research subjects.Two parallel class comparison experiments were used to conduct the research.The experimental class used APP software and traditional assignments to arrange assignments.The control class only chose traditional methods to arrange assignments and used questionnaire surveys.The form of the law and the interview method,the attitudes of the students of the two parallel classes before and after the start of the experiment,and the difficulties they faced when completing their homework,investigated their progress in English,and compared two parallel classes.Students' English test results are analyzed using SPSS22.0.The final research results show that after using the APP software,students' enthusiasmfor learning has been greatly improved,students' knowledge and skills have been improved,and students' self-learning ability has been improved,and teachers' efforts and evaluation on student work have been increased.Finally,the author puts forward some constructive suggestions on how teachers use APP software to make arrangements for extracurricular English assignments: change the concept of assignments,enrich the layout of assignments,focus on the level of students' psychological cognition,develop comprehensive English skills,and effectively use feedback on student evaluations information.
