A Study On The Present Situation And Countermeasures Of Primary School English Extracurricular Homework Implementation Based On WeChat Platform

With the popularity of the Internet and the maturity of mobile learning technology,WeChat has accumulated a high degree of popularity as a free instant messaging software with its convenient and fast features.Wechat-based English homework has emerged in this context.The research on WeChat will help enrich and improve the education and learning methods in the era of “Internet +”,and provide guidance and reference for teachers to design online homework in the future.This article takes X primary school as a case study and uses the questionnaire survey method to investigate the status quo of the implementation of English homework assignments on X Elementary School WeChat platform.Through the investigation,we can find the following problems in the implementation process of X primary school WeChat operation: WeChat operation type is still single,the form changes little;the arrangement is too frequent,the amount of work is large;the completion process of the operation is too dependent on the parents,the students are The completion of the assignment is not high;WeChat jobs take up more rest time for teachers.Through analysis,the reasons for the above problems are: the limitations of the WeChat platform;the teachers' awareness of the design of WeChat operations is not enough;the pupils' mentality is not mature,and the self-control is poor;School teaching supervision is not in place.This paper puts forward the following four suggestions for the design of primary school English homework based on WeChat: extensively collect and compare the characteristics of various online operating platforms,and reasonably introduce suitable operating platforms.In addition,guided by the Compulsory Education Curriculum Standards.Based on the overall goal of the English course,the teacher's design online operation ability is enhanced from four aspects: emphasis on the use of language skills,training on language knowledge,strengthening the guidance of learning strategies,and enhancing students' cultural awareness;Combine WeChat assignments with handwritten assignments and give students the right to choose;finally,the students are reasonably guided to use electronic equipment to form a joint school and school.
