ObjectiveThis study was designed to explore the association among Childhood trauma,parental alcohol use,personality traits and coping styles in patients with alcohol dependence,which provides the reference for the prevention and treatment of alcohol dependenceMethodsThere were 120 adult male patients as the case group,and 103 normal healthy male volunteers as control group.The general demographics data and family drinking environment condition were acquired by self-made basic situation questionnaire and intercept interviews.And childhood trauma experience,personality traits and coping styles were surveyed by Childhood Trauma Questionnaire,Eysenck Personality Questionnaire,Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire.When all subjects had been divided into control group or case group,they should complete the measurement and evaluation.Then doing the data analysis,including single factor analysis and multi-factor analysis.Results1.The proportion of the group receiving the doting type was higher than that of the control group;And father drinking frequency per week,the experience of being induced drinking,the consistency of parents'attitude to drinking behavior of their children,the score of childhood physical abuse,emotional abuse,sexual abuse,emotional neglect,the score of childhood trauma,neuroticism,extrovision were higher than control group,the positive coping style score was lower than that in control group,and the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05)2.There was a positive correlation between the alcohol dependence and father drinking frequency per week,the attitude toward children's first drinking,the experience of being induced drinking,the score of childhood physical abuse,emotional abuse,sexual abuse,emotional neglect,the score of childhood trauma(P<0.05);There was a negative correlation between the alcohol dependence and the consistency of parents'attitude to drinking behavior of their children(P<0.01)3.According to the multiple regression analysis,it was found that the risk factors of alcohol dependence were loting type,father drinking frequency per week,the experience of being induced drinking;The protective factors of alcohol dependence were the years of schooling,the consistency of parents' attitude to drinking behavior of their children and the positive coping styles(P<0.05)Conclusions1.The childhood trauma is closely related to the alcohol dependence.The physical abuse,emotional abuse and neglect and sexual abuse is risk factosr for alcohol dependence;2.The alcohol use situation of father and the parents 'different attitudes towards the children's drinking were risk factors of alcohol dependence.3.Multivariate regression analysis shows that male alcohol dependence were characterized by extraversion and neuroticism,and their coping style was mostly negative.
