Alai is a representative writer who writes about Tibet since the new century.His novels always regard Tibetan history as the theme,showing a profound picture of Tibetan history.King Gesar introduces the story of Gesar's epic and the dilemma in inheriting traditional rap art at present,on the basis of Tibetan epics.Zhan Dui,the non-fictional literary work,describes the modern history of intertwined with contradicts from Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.Red Poppies and Empty Mountain: The Legend of the Village reflect the development and changes of Tibetan in the process of modernization through the description of Tibetan Guanzhai and villages.Alai makes the heritage of Tibetan culture be highlighted through writing its history,and presents a broad critical vision in his novels rather than being limited to the statement of Tibetan history.He not only analyzes and rethinks the history of his own nation,but also criticizes the entire modernization process,which expresses his deep inquiry and reflection on the universal problems of mankind.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this article elaborates the characteristics of Tibetan history written by Alai from the following four chapters.The introduction mainly expounds the background and significance of studying Alai's novels,and analyzes the research status of Alai's novels.The first chapter mainly presents the contents of Alai's novels writing about Tibetan history writing in chronological order and expounds the traces of the ancient Tibetan history in his novels,the Tibetan history intertwined with contradicts under the rule of Qing Dynasty,and the history of Tibetan changes in the past 100 years since the Revolution of 1911.The second chapter explores the national culture presented in his historical context.This national culture gradually disappears as the advance of history.In his novels,Alai reflects his detainment of disappearing Tibetan culture,and places his hope on the civilization constructiveness of Tibet.The third chapter expounds the analysis and transcendence on the history of Tibet of Alai.Alai proposes that Tibetan history has been in a state of stagnation for quite some time.He criticizes the old political system and the tendency of religious secularization.At the same time,he views Tibetan history with a transcendental insight,reflects on the political events experienced by the whole country,and considers the ecological environmental protection closely related to human destiny.The fourth chapter analyzes Alai's novels from the form.Firstly,it analyzes its multiple perspectives on narrating the history,and then analyzes the transformation from fiction to non-fiction of Alai.The conclusion further clarifies the four distinct characteristics of writing Tibetan history by Alai and analyzes the significance of Alai's novels for the literary narration of "Chinese experience".
