Since the "Belt and Road Initiative" was advocated, all provinces and cities in China have stepped on the fast track of development, and the Northeastern China is quick in response, revitalizing this history-honored fertile land with profound culture. In request of a German student, the author escorted him to visit the Museum of Northeastern Folk Art in October,2017,and served guide interpreting for him.The author recorded this practice which lasted about 90 minutes and transcribed it into a text, then accordingly completed this practice report. There are three chapters in the report, namely the introduction to the interpreting task, description of the interpreting process,as well as the relevant problems and countermeasures. The author elucidated on the background and requirements of the task, elaborated the overall interpreting process such as the preand post-interpreting work, analyzed the problems in the practice, and proposed countermeasures based on the practice respectively. There are mainly three problems in the practice: misinterpretation, loss of information, and improper pauses and fillers.Through analysis of these problems, the author found out major causes including loss of culture-loaded information, noise disturbance during the interpreting, etc.,then put forward some countermeasures, including amplification, reconstruction, and enriching encyclopedia knowledge so as to make some references for future practices.
