Design And Implementation Of Computer-aided Translation Teaching System

With the development and prosperity of economic globalization,translation,as a means of intercultural communication,plays an increasingly important role.Compared with the larger and larger demands of the translation market,and higher and higher required translating,the training speed of translators is relatively slow.Translation can be divided into interpretation and written translation.The traditional teaching mode of foreign language translation fails to ensure that students acquire sufficient experience to participate in actual translation projects in the real environment.Students' practical ability in foreign language translation is difficult to be cultivated,and they receive knowledge passively,and rarely study and explore it independently.It is necessary to build a computer-aided translation teaching system to provide an information-based independent teaching platform based on network technology,translation memory technology and database technology.This paper is based on the analysis of the development of computer-aided translation software at home and abroad and the present situation of computer-aided translation teaching on the basis of the research through a local undergraduate colleges in Guangxi and the actual situation of translation teaching needs,combined with some existing computer-aided teaching system,designed to achieve a simple and practical computer aided translation teaching system.The main tasks completed in this paper are as follows:First,it analyzed the specific business situation of the translation course teaching in local undergraduate universities and relevant procedures of the translation teaching business were analyzed and the overall business requirements were sorted out,and the requirements from the aspects of feasibility,function and non-function were analyzed in the paper,too.Second,on the basis of demand survey,the system functional module design and database design were conducted by combining SQL Server 2008 database technology,B/S structure and MVC development framework.Third,the implementation of the system is implemented by using ASP.NET development language.Some main functional modules of the system are introduced by listing the key codes and drawing the flow chart.In the process of system development and implementation,the software was tested in time.Fourth,it is about the construction of corpus.According to the actual needs of teachers'teaching,a corpus in a certain field is constructed,including the glossary and sentence library.In the process of using,students can add examples for practice with greater input of manpower and material resources according to teaching needs and the system can be expanded to build more fields of corpus.The system developed in this paper can assist students to carry out bilingual translation quickly and correctly,and it can provide students with plenty of opportunities for translation practice and guide students to effectively improve their translation ability and skills.It can improve teachers' monitoring of students and management efficiency of homework and exams.The system based on the corpus-based interactive translation teaching mode is simple and practical,which is not limited by time and space,and it realizes the modern teaching mode of"Internet + education".
