“Crisis communication” is a buzzword in the field of management science and communication science. The 2018 financial crisis did demonstrate the serious impact of the crisis, and also showed the necessity and importance of the study of “crisis communication”.Regrettably,up till now there are very limited books on this theme in China, hence the materials for all varieties of organizations to study is extremely scarce. In light of this gap,the translator has translated three chapters of the book, aiming to help Chinese organizations understand how to face crises effectively, how to sort out the misunderstanding of crisis communication so as to detect and take the hidden opportunities in or after the crisis, and better achieve the sustainable development of the organization. Therefore, based on the fine translation practice of this chapter,it is very important to write a report on the translation practice and sum up translation experiences and lessons. It is my hope that this translation practice report should be of great help both for organizational and personal communications. This translation practice report is mainly written in four aspects: a brief introduction to the translation task,a description of the translation process, selected case analysis, and a summary of the translation practice.Based on Eugene A.Nada' s functional equivalence theory, the translator has focused on the analysis of the text features from the levels of vocabulary and sentences. It also discusses difficulties and problems that come across as well as effective translation strategies and approaches. It is hoped that this translation practice report can provide reference for the enterprise management and communication scholars. It also hopes to provide some inspiration and reference for the translators in the field of management and communication.
