Aesthetic Features And Functions Of Beijing Artistic Shopping Malls

Shopping malls are one of the most indispensable places in our daily life,especially for urban residents.Contemporary shopping malls in the city are a combination of diverse services such as shopping,entertainment,leisure and catering,which enrich public's spare life.With the development of the experiential economy,the shopping malls with the addition of artistic experience have become a very popular business model,and many shopping mall projects have completed the transformation to projects with artistic theme.The integration of art into shopping centers brings not only great economic benefits to commercial projects,but also rich aesthetic features into shopping malls.For the public,artistic shopping malls could bring them benefits both from aesthetic and cultural perspectives,meet people's spiritual needs,social needs,individual needs and identification needs,etc.,so artistic shopping malls are also important places for the city to build cultural service facilities and implement public aesthetic education.Because of people's high consumption level and awareness,artistic shopping malls tend to develop faster in first-tier cities.Therefore,this paper selects the artistic shopping malls in Beijing as a sample,and summarizes the aesthetic features and functions of the artistic shopping malls in Beijing through field observations and interviews with consumers,and points out the remaining problems of the Beijing artistic shopping malls and forwards expectations in their future development.The first chapter of this paper mainly expounds the research background,research purpose and significance,literature review of related research at home and abroad,research content and methods,and defines the concept of "artistic shopping malls" studied in this paper.The second chapter explores the artistic presentation types in artistic shopping malls in Beijing.The artistic presentation types in Beijing artistic shopping malls are summarized into art decoration and art activities,and the usual forms of the combination of art and shopping malls in Beijing are discussed from six aspects,including architectural art,environmental art,art furnishings,art exhibitions,art fairs and art education.The third chapter explores the aesthetic features of artistic shopping malls in Beijing.With the combination of aesthetic theory and interviews,and with an order from large to small,from the outside to inside,the aesthetic features of Beijing artistic shopping malls are summarized into the beauty in harmony,the beauty in scene,and the beauty in goodness,and a large number of cases are analyzed to support.In the part of beauty in harmony,the harmonious aesthetic features between the architectural space and ecological environment in artistic shopping malls arediscussed;in the part of the beauty in scene,the paper summaries the aesthetic features of art decoration and art activities in shopping malls from the perspectives of emotion,content and various forms;in the part of the beauty in goodness,the connotations of the art works in artistic shopping malls are summarized from the perspective of aesthetic goodness.The fourth chapter explores the aesthetic functions of artistic shopping malls in Beijing.Based on the researches in the second chapter and the third chapter,combined with the developmental characteristics of China in the new era,the aesthetic trend of the world,and the concept of whole-person education,the paper studies the positive impact of artistic shopping malls on people and society.The conclusion part discusses the existing problems of Beijing artistic shopping malls,and explores the development mode of localization and future development prospects of artistic shopping malls.
