Otar Vasilis dze Taktakishvili's creations perfectly integrate classical music with folk music.He represents the peak of Georgian classical music.This paper explores the musical structure and performance processing of "Sonata for flute and piano in C major" by Taktakishvili through data collection and organization.Otar Vasilis dze Taktakishvili's "Sonata for flute and piano in C major",with beautiful melody and rich emotions,is one of the outstanding music art forms in the 20 th century.The whole piece is divided into three movements,The first movement is a cantabile allegro in the expressive and diverse sonata form.The second movement is an aria in the common reproducible trilogy form.This movement reflects the influence of vocal music works on Taktakishvili's creation.The third movement is a witty allegro in the rondo form.The whole movement is lively and varied with vivid images and strong artistic appeal and fully demonstrates the perfect combination of flute and piano.It is hoped that this study can provide a reference for the performance of this work.
