A Study On The Educative Functions Of Tujia Folk Songs In Shuangfeng Village

Tujia folk songs are created by Tujia people in their long-term production and life experience.They contain rich historical culture of Tujia people and have a certain impact on Tujia people’s production and life style.On the account of the rapid development of global economy and the impact of multiculturalism,Tujia folk songs are on the verge of being lost.This study,which is carried out in Shuangfeng Village Yongshun County,Hunna Province,collects and collates Tujia folk songs and conducts case interviews to analyze the inheritance mode and current situation of Tujia folk songs,so as to excavate the cultural value and educational significance contained in Tujia folk songs.Through the research,we can find that Tujia folk songs contain rich educational content and influence,that is,to the individual as well as to the society.The main manifestations of the individual are moral education,intellectual education,aesthetic education and so on.For example,the intellectual education contained in Tujia children’s songs has Tujia’s unique national education characteristics,that is,it is a family education and has certain social impact.The impact on society mainly promotes the harmonious development of social environment to a certain extent,which is manifested in four aspects: population,politics,economy and culture.Tujia folk songs have the functions of cultural inheritance,enlightenment,entertainment and communication.However,with the change of production,lifestyle and social environment,the functions of Tujia folk songs have gradually evolved,especially the gradual disintegration of educational functions,which has become an important reason why Tujia folk songs are on the verge of being lost.In order to make Tujia folk songs more meaningful in the process of inheritance,we should consider new ways of development,explore the cultural connotation of Tujia folk songs and the educational value of contemporary education,and realize the normal exertion of educational functions.Only when the government establishes the protection mechanism and combines it with contemporary education can it develop better in the process of protection and inheritance.
