Educational fairness is a social ideal linked to the concept of social equity. It is a concrete manifestation and extension of social fair value ideal and pursuit in the field of education. It is an eternal topic with universality.Teacher-student interaction is the basic form of classroom teaching activities and an important part of education and teaching. The fairness of teacher-student interaction in the classroom is related to the fairness of education and teaching, and it is the concrete manifestation of education fairness at the micro-teaching level. As a communicative subject,a lot of interaction between teachers and students is needed in English classroom teaching. The way teachers and students interact in the classroom directly affects the students' learning process and results. However, looking back at my own learning experience,I deeply understand that in the actual classroom teaching, there is an unfair interaction between teachers and students, which affects and hinders the realization of educational fairness. So,the author went to the high school English classroom to investigate and study the actual situation of teacher-student interaction.Through the classroom observation, questionnaire, interview and other research methods, the following questions are studied:(1)What kind of unfairness exists in the teacher-student interaction in high school English classroom?(2)What are the causes for the unfair interaction between teachers and students? In this study,96 students and nine English teachers from a senior high school in Shandong Province were selected as subjects.Through making classroom observation for three months in the English classroom, the interaction between teachers and students were observed. In addition, the author has interviewed nine English teachers of different teaching ages to understand the current English teachers' views on classroom teacher-student interaction. Then, the author has distributed the questionnaire to 96 students and conducted a survey on the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom in order to understand the impact on studentsof teacher-student interaction. The study found that in the current English teaching, the unfair interaction between teachers and students in the classroom mainly exists in the unfairness of interactive objects, interactive content and interactive feedback. For example, students of different genders, positions, seating arrangements, and grades have different ways and content to interact with teachers, and the feedback and evaluation of teachers are also different.Through investigation, the author finds that teachers and students are likely to “label” different individuals with different situations.Under the influence of the label, there exists different interaction expectations and content in the classroom teaching. The differences in teacher-student interaction affects the effectiveness of classroom teaching and also affects the fairness of education. In order to optimize the interaction between teachers and students in the classroom, promote the fairness of education and teaching, the author puts forward some countermeasures: firstly, improve teachers' moral literacy and teaching ability, and avoid labeling students;secondly, optimize classroom management reasonably and use reasonable methods in classroom learning and interaction; In addition, teachers should recognize students and use diversified assessment methods when evaluating them.In short,as the leader of classroom teaching, teachers should implement reasonable teacher-student interaction in the teaching process to achieve efficient and fair teaching.
