Vocabulary is the basic unit of language structure and the most active component in language studying. For beginners in learning Chinese, the annotation of new words will directly affect its learning effect. From the perspective of the comparison between Chinese and western languages, this paper studies the new words in Chinese Language Today and Contemporary Chinese, commonly used textbooks in Spanish-speaking countries and regions. It uses the methods of quantitative analysis and comparative analysis to study the annotations of two sets of textbooks, and proposes relevant suggestions based on the research results.First of all, this paper summarizes the common ways of annotations in two textbooks, and uses the evaluation theory of Chinese as a foreign language to make a preliminary assessment of the annotations of new words.Secondly, this paper compares the shared words and annotations of the two textbooks through the number of semantic items and language forms.Based on the comparative analysis of Chinese and Spanish, this paper discusses the reasons for the translation of the same texts in the two textbooks, and finds the parts worthy of reference and experience. Then, the author combines his own teaching practice and the characteristics of other Spanish version Chinese textbooks to point out the problems of the new words and modify them. Finally, this paper combines the analysis results of the previous chapters to make suggestions for the western language annotation of the primary Chinese textbooks,so as to provide some reference for the reprinting and writing of the textbooks in the Spanish-speaking countries and regions.
