Word order is one of important grammatical means in modern Chinese and also is one of difficulties in TCSL(Teaching Chinese as a Second Language).In the process of Chinese language teaching, the students who speak Spanish are usually found make word order errors. Based on investigation of large number of homework and test papers, this paper makes classification statistics on the word order errors made by the students who speak Spanish in Chinese learning employing inter-language theory and method of error analysis, and through analyzing the causes,in hope of giving some help to those students that are learning Chinese. This paper can be divided into four parts:Chapter one is the preface. It introduces the significance and importance of this research, and the put a brief review of those research on this subject by both domestic and alien scholars, and last explain the theories and methods employed, as well as the clues and objective of this research.Chapter two is the classification of word order errors made by the students who speak Spanish. First, It introduces the morpheme sequence characteristic of Chinese and Spanish.And in this chapter it collects sentences with word order error through investigation and classify these errors. They are subject-predicate order error, attributive order error, adverbial order error, and complement order error.Chapter three is the analysis of the main causes of the errors. Firstly it introduces the difference between Chinese and Spanish. Then we analyze the leading cause of word order error made by the students who speak Spanish from four aspects:inter-language negative transfer, intralingual transfer, learning strategy, and learning environment.Chapter four gives some advice in hope of correcting the errors made by the students who speak Spanish. These advices are given from four aspects:for the leaner, for the teacher,for the targeted teaching, and for the learning environment.As there is a big gap between Chinese and Spanish, especially in word orders, it is difficult for learners to learn and use Chinese perfectly without the influence of their mother language. Therefore, it is of great necessity to make comparison and contrast on these two languages.To students, this thesis analyses the causes of word order errors, predicts the problems and difficulties that learners may come across during their study, and looks for relevant solutions, so as to help learners get rid of the disturbance of their mother tongue from its origin and to reach the goal to eliminate word order errors for learners. |
