| This report selects Chapter 4 The Case of Oresund(Denmark-Sweden)– Regions and Innovation: Collaborating Across Borders from OECD Regional Development Working Papers 2013/21 as the translation text and the translator classifies the problems in words and sentences respectively meeting in the process of translation.First,this translation practice report starts with the vocabulary of science and technology in the text,and discusses with examples which translation methods should be adopted to translate professional vocabulary related to Regional Innovation,names of places and organizations.Second,the translator discusses the translation methods of transitional words in discourse for the purpose of forming a smooth and decent translation work.Lastly,the translator explores the translation principles of the tables,figures and Chinese four-character lattices in translation text.Through the analysis of three kinds of problems on different levels,the relevnt solutions are put forward with the analysis of the cases.Based on the discussion of the above three aspects of translation problems,the author puts forward the translation methods of relevant problems and analyzes the specific examples.It is hoped that this translation practice report can provide more useful references for more translators who study the translation of scientific and technological texts. |
