In the history of Chinese literature, fiction and Drama(or opera)are almost the same origin and influence each other. The emancipation of the mind brought about by the May 4th Movement and the lifting of the ideological ban after the mid-1980 s provided a ticket for western drama and literary theory. At the same time,it provides opportunities and inspiration for Chinese scholars to learn Chinese and Western Drama in the process of novel creation. With the development from modern times to contemporary times, the study of drama in Chinese fiction has been enriched.Drama is no longer a scattered ornament in fiction texts, but appears in fiction works in a planned and symbolic way.As a result,Chinese novels have made great progress in art. This paper combs contemporary fiction works, looks for representative works with obvious dramatic characteristics, and summarizes four aspects with regularity. In the first part, starting from the intertextuality, the author discusses how contemporary Chinese novels use the Intertextuality between traditional dramatic texts to complete the innovation and creation of the novel, and takes " Peony Pavilion" as an example to analyze it.In the second part, starting with the theme, study the contemporary novel from the traditional point of view, and gradually move the Qingyi from the stage to the novel text, and give it tragic color. Here, take Bi Feiyu's Tsing Yi as an example to analyze. In the third part, starting with the narrative strategy of drama, the author chooses Mo Yan's Frog and Sandalwood Penalty to analyze how the novel combines the narrative expression of drama to unfold the story and shape the characters. In the last part, this paper takes Jia Pingwa's novel Qin Opera as an example to analyze the Qin writers from the root-seeking consciousness, absorb the local drama, and transform it into the cultural standpoint of the novel,in order to write native China. The absorption and integration of drama in fiction is an important trend in the development of literature. It is also the writer's self-choice in the face of the requirements of the times when Chinese literature moves towards the world.
