| Physical exercise refers to a physical activity that is planned, directed, repetitive, purposeful, and designed to improve or maintain one or more physical components(physical qualities)under certain intensity.Responsive style, also known as coping style, refers to the active, conscious or behavioral change that an individual takes in order to solve a problem in a dangerous or difficult situation.Internal motivation is the internal motivation generated by the individual itself, often derived from the individual’s interest in what he does and his or her knowledge of its value.Literature analysis shows that the effective initiation and long-term persistence of physical exercise behavior depends on the stimulation and internalization of individual exercise motivation, and is influenced by the individual’s reaction style in difficult situations. So far, researchers have achieved rich results in the classification analysis and research on the factors influencing physical exercise, but the research on the process performance and its influencing mechanism of focusing on specific groups and focusing on the behavior from initiation to persistence It is still obviously insufficient. This study therefore focuses on the phenomenon that it is difficult to adhere to effective exercise behaviors among college students, and is devoted to exploring the beneficial and hindering factors in the process of transforming exercise intention into exercise behavior,in order to expect the effective initiation and long-term persistence of physical exercise behavior.Have been studied in depth. To this end, based on the health behavior prediction model(TPB)proposed by the theory of planned behavior,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 589 college students in grades 1-3,and the validity of this classic model in predicting college students’ physical exercise intention was analyzed.(Study 1);On this basis, based on the theory of healthy behavioral processes, the internal motivations under the self-determination theory, and the reaction styles embodied in the core processes of the acceptance and commitment therapy treatment models, interview studies were conducted on 17 typical subjects.In-depth interviews focused on the internal motivations of their exercises, the performance characteristics of the reaction styles at different stages of behavior and their influencing factors, and applied the inductive analysis method to collate and refine the interview data. Finally, the model hypothesis of the variable relationship was proposed.(Study 2).The main results and conclusions of the above two studies are as follows:1.The results of relevant analysis of the survey data show that there is a significant positive correlation between college students’ exercise attitude, subjective norms, perceptual behavior control, exercise intention and exercise behavior. This shows that the more positive the attitude towards exercise behavior, the stronger the ability to overcome the exercise dilemma, the stronger the normative effect of the surrounding environment, the stronger the intention to exercise, and the greater the possibility of exercising behavior. The theory of planned behavior is a good explanation of the relationship between attitudes, norms, controls, intentions, and behaviors in physical exercise behavior.2.The results of the mediation effect test on the survey data show that the exercise intention does not play a mediating role between exercise attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavior control and exercise behavior. This shows that the theory of planned behavior can not predict the specific behavior of physical exercise well.3.The results of inductive analysis of the interview data show that the exercisers with the same intensity of exercise intention have obvious differences in the characteristics of the exercise behavior stages when the exercisers go to different exercise stages. The specific performance is as follows: The expected benefits of the results range from focusing on short-term exercise effects to focusing on positive emotional experiences during exercise;internal motivations shift from more utilitarian and short-term exercise goals to a healthy lifestyle,longer-term exercise goals; With the advancement of the physical exercise stage,it presents a higher flexibility in cognition and behavior, and can adjust the behavior according to the specific situation. The effectiveness and persistence of exercise behavior show different stage characteristics. Therefore,in the process of transforming exercise intention into exercise behavior, internal motivation and reaction style play a regulating role, and the exercise intention driven by internal motivation and reaction style can be very Good predictive of the effectiveness and persistence of exercise behavior. |
