Higher vocational students play an important role in national construction and development.They are mean a lot to China's industrial upgrading and changing the mode of economic development.Higher vocational students face severe talent competition and employment pressure when they enter the society.Many students are difficult to adapt to the new social environment,and more and more scholars begin to pay attention to the problem of students' social adaptation.Social development describes the individual's cognition and emotion about social environment and social relations,as well as how to adapt to social environment and participate in social activities.Therefore,studying the social development of higher vocational college students is helpful to study the social adaptation of higher vocational college students from the psychological level.This paper takes 794 vocational students in a vocational college in Fujian Province as the object of study,and uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and mathematical statistics method,to investigate the social development level,family environment status and personality characteristics of vocational college students on the basis of literature and literature.The results show that most of the social development level of vocational college students is in the middle of development,however,18.4%of the students were in a state of developmental lag or severe retardation.There are significant differences in gender,grade and family structure in Higher Vocational Students' social development.There is a significant correlation between the family environment and personality characteristics of higher vocational college students and their social development level.The introversion and extroversion personality of higher vocational college students has partial mediating effect on the overall control and social development of the family environment.In view of the above,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the social development of senior high school students from 3 aspects such as higher vocational students,family,vocational colleges and vocational students:Parents strengthen their restrictions on their children,and encourage their children to participate in social activities;Schools strengthen communication with parents,and cultivate extroverted personality of Higher Vocational students;Higher vocational students themselves learn more about social knowledge,and take an active part in social activities.
